DevGRAD provides a platform through which Diaspora professionals interested in development consulting can come together, form a consortium with experienced European consultants to develop and bid for projects and respond to various calls related to our thematic areas. Young graduates and students in the development field are given the opportunity for first time experience in project development and consulting through mentoring from experienced professionals. The idea is that participating in the project bidding process and grant application for development projects in African countries while in Diaspora will afford them the opportunity to use the technical skills in developing projects in their respective communities.
In DevGRAD , we provide capacity building sessions and training in our campuses for the students and on the procedures for grant application and possibilities of support services from the leaders in development consulting during project development. These capacity building programmes are aimed at contributing to build and enhance Diaspora professionals with capacity to fostering the use of development consulting skills for the economic and technological development of their countries. The partnership can equally be company, professionals or organization which helps in strengthening international cooperation and technical assistance across the border.
