Edoxi Kindane is of Burkina Faso origin, an Economist and Educator that bring nearly 8 years of experience in leading impact evaluations, managing data collection, and in qualitative research in Senegal, Burkina Faso, Benin, Rwanda, Ivory Coast, and in the DRC. His expertise cut across the agriculture sector, nutrition, education, gender, energy, and environmental economy.
At DevGrad, Mr. Kindane serves as Senior Policy expert identifying the needs of the local partners and matching appropriate development intervention, initiates necessary partnership and collaboration necessary to achieve the positive impact of DevGRAD project at the grassroots. He is also charged with responsibilities of providing technical assistance and backstopping services for DevGRAD projects across the African country. His role within DevGRAD also extends to the provision of technical support to the members in the network across Africa by supporting the local partners in project design, M&E, and matching of appropriate needs of the local partners to development project and facilitating capacity development and training in collaboration with DevGRAD Regional Head of Program.

A highly experienced field manager, Mr. Kindane has successfully trained and managed teams of up to 20 enumerators, while also overseeing data entry and data cleaning for over 15 donor-funded evaluations to date. His recent project in 2018 is the provision of technical support in the implementation of IMPAQ International project as a Fieldwork Manager on the evaluations of the Food for Education (FFE)-funded McGovern Dole Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program Beog-Biiga I and Beog-Biiga II, as well as for an evaluation of the FFE-funded Education and Child Nutrition Program in Senegal. Mr. Kindane’s efforts on each of these evaluations were critical to their success, as he designed and led quantitative surveys, performed all translations of instruments, conducted key informant interviews and focus groups, trained enumerators, oversaw data entry and was solely responsible for the logistics of data collection. In addition to this, Mr. Kindane has extensive experience in training, supervising enumerators and project development

Mr. Kindane earned Masters in Globalization and Development from the University of Antwerp, Belgium, MS.c in Public Economy and Applied Statistics at the African School of Economics in Benin, as well as MA in Macroeconomics and Development Management at Ouagadougou University in Burkina Faso. Mr. Kindane has native proficiency in French and brings professional-level fluency in English.
